See page 23 for an explanation and a chance-to benefit from our misfortune! But we also want to call your attention to a couple of innovations this month~· The first, MUSICTHEATRE, on page 8, is an attempt. to accommodate listings of a type that don't fit our daily calendar very well. The second, FIRST FIVE, is a direct response to the request in the following letter. YOU ASKED! I was just looking at your new WEB page yesterday and it looks neat! I like the little icon showing the construction "man-at-work" sign withthe little buddy going up and down with his shovel. Cute! I can see that PULSE is getting more popular, by the day. When I went to pick up my free copy of PULSE in December at the SHAR store, they were actually "sold out" .... We sure have to pick then\ up eaily now ... I have a sugges•tion for · your little PULSE magazine. I'm not sure exactly whert you make each monthly issue available. February 1 • March 5 1 997 • Page 3 LETTERS TO PULSE CONTINUED FROM PAGE 2 assuming it is at the end of the month for the following month. For those picking up issues, they probably pick theirs a few days after, and there is a good chance they will be missing concert opportunities listed for the 1st or the 2nd of the month. I was wondering whether you might consider printing concert listings for the first few days of the following month in each monthly issue of PULSE, with a note, perhaps, indicating that the listings for the "following" month may not be complete nowcbut will be reprinted fully in the next issue as "current" month items.
