Readers staying in the city resented wading · through lists of interesting concerts only to find that something· striking their fancy was taking place in Elora, or Ottawa or Parry Sound. And conversely,' people joining the annual exodus to one or another place didn't want to wade through every1hing either. · So this year we've taken a different tack. Our concert listings (page 19 to 25 ) cover our usual geographic beat. But they are followed by a greatly expanded "Further aficldn section (pages 25-30 which lists, festival hy festival, in alphabetical order, the music that gets out of tlie city for the summer, as so . many of us do.· City-bound or cottage bound, we hope this new arrangement (for the summer only!) meets your needs.
