The CANADIAN CHIL­ DREN'S OPERA CHORUS announces the fall release of its CD Creatures Great and Small. Dedicated to former Music Director and Honorary patron Derek Holman, the recording has as its title track his 1994 work commissioned by the Chorus. Holman's delightful composition includes lyrics from Dennis Lee's Rattlesnake Skipping Song. The CANADIAN MUSIC CENTRE's recording label Centrediscs releases a new digital compact disc. Entitled A Bridge Beyond, the recording presents the guitar at its most traditional and its most experimental, and features guitarists William Beauvais and Stephen Wingfield.
