We have just finished teaching at Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute where we continue to be amazed and inspired. The students are focused, extremely talented and we are energized working with them. I have also been teaching for Bill Silva and working with the singers in his summer opera workshop program. Once again, great talent and energy! We are about to begin a summer program for young music and dance students ages 14-18), most of whom train with us throughout the year at the School of Atelier Ballet. We will perform scenes from (or possibly all of) Dido and Aeneas at a free public perform- ance (July 21st, noon, St. Lawrence Hall Ballroom). Finally, we will be having a dance workshop this summer in preparation for the French version of Gluck's Orpheus and Eurydice - the Canadian premiere (April 07).
