4 JUly/august '97 wholenote Wholenote' S members are a vibrant cross-section of the community whose artistry we celebrate, support and promote. Once a year (usually in the summer or the first issue of the new season) each member provides a "profile" like the 31 that follow here, providing a glimpse of what is in store for us musically in the 1997-98 season. They may be helpful to you in doing some early · planning. They will be extremely helpful to us in planning our next year of the wholenote. New members are always welcome; membership brings important benefits to members, such as a 33% discount on advertising, the annual publication of these member profiles, and from the beginning of next season, the right to contribute news snippets to our Concert Notes. Additionally, this August 8 we will be having a draw from the names of all new or returning members for 00 in prizes. -For membership information, phone (416) 406-6758.
