12 May is a very busy month for choirs in Toronto and for us at Choirs Ontario. In this column, I don't always explain all that we do here at the arts service organization for choirs in Ontario. Our visible programmes include the annual Ontario Youth Choir and Children's Choir Camp and the Leslie Bell Prize Competition and the Ruth Watson Henderson Choral Composition Competition. We publish a quarterly newsletter entitiled Dynamic, run a choral rental parts library and advocate on behalf of choral· music in Ontario. Membership fees range from to depending on the category and we accept membership applications all year round. For more on Choirs Ontario, please visit our website at www .choirsontario.org.
