I've been through thi~

I've been through thi~ process literally hundreds of times now, but each time it's rejuvenating and deeply satisfying with the result being a sense of accomplishment and real human contact with fellow choristers and audiences, not to mention intellectual and emotional contact with the music. Not to put too fine a political point on this, I'm increasingly convinced that this community spirjt needs to be recognized as a major positive force in the life of this city. Support for the arts can take many forms. We all wish there was more money, but I think we wish all the more for sincere, considered, thoughtful policies from political community leaders who take the time to really see what a difference the arts can' make.
