In this past year, he was a finalist in the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels, a first place winner in the New York Oratorio Society Competition and a prize winner with the George London Foundation. Toronto audiences heard him in last year's Roy Thomson Hall Millennium Opera Gala and in concert with baritone Dmitri H vorostovsky and the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra.
